Discover the magic of Open Range Sunday: A Day of Art, where artists gain all-day access to three of Ventura County's most breathtaking ranches, inviting creativity inspired by nature's beauty.
Studio Channel Islands Art Center is offering artists all-day access to three of Ventura County's most spectacular ranches to create in response to the environment. Friends and supporters may come at the end of each day for a ticketed sunset reception.
All artists are welcome! Writers, photographers, filmmakers, sculptors, illustrators, painters, printmakers, musicians, dancers.
Flying M Ranch is home to one of the most picturesque original farmhouses and original orange groves in Ventura County.
Entrance and Tickets: The entry fee for Artists is $5. Entry to the sunset reception is $25. Artists who paid an entry fee to create are not required to purchase tickets to the reception and do not need to be members of SCIart to participate. As an additional benefit / option, we are offering a 2 hour still life painting workshop with Gabriel Islas from 1pm - 3pm for $30. Lunch is available for purchase for $12.00. Attendees may park along Simi Street and walk in.
