Will Brahm was born in Portland Oregon, where he was introduced to music at a very young age. He began playing the guitar at age 14, and quickly began finding new paths and genres to learn on his instrument. He attended California State Long Beach as a five-time K-JAZZ scholarship recipient, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Jazz Guitar Performance. While studying at CSULB, he was mentored by legendary guitarist Ron Eschete. Ron introduced Will to the great American songbook and to composers like Cole Porter and George Gershwin.

After graduating college Will quickly immersed himself in writing his own music and accompanying jazz vocalists around Southern California. In 2015 he joined The New West Guitars alongside John Storie and Perry Smith, and began his touring career.

In 2018 he teamed up with jazz vocalist Lia Booth to release “Will Brahm and Lia Booth”. In 2019, he brought his acoustic ensemble into the studio to record his all original album “Venture Atlas”. In May of 2019 Will joined Jazz Trumpet legend Arturo Sandoval as his full-time touring and recording guitarist.

In December 2019, Will was chosen as a semifinalist in the Herbie Hancock institute of Jazz international guitar competition.

Will continues to write, perform and tour across the U.S. and extensively overseas. He has toured across more than ten countries and plans to record his next original album in 2023.
